Steps for MPLAB IDE and XC8 Compiler Installation:

1. Download the MPLab IDE and Compiler by clicking the link below for free

2. Extract the downloaded file in one folder

3. First install the MPLAB IDE (MPLABX-v3.55-windows-installer)

4. Then install the 8 bit compiler (xc8-v1.41-full-install-windows-installer)

5. After installation open the MPLAB ide from the path

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microchip\MPLABX\v3.55\mplab_ide\bin\mplab_ide.exe"

Steps for Proteus Installation:

Download the setup from link given below if you do not have it already.

Then Left Click on the Proteus 8.5 SP1 and select the option of Run as Administrator

When Setup Menu appears, select Custom Installation

Copy the Path given as Installation Path and paste it into the Program Data Path (remove the prior one)

Click close when installation is complete

Now, download the crack given below (there is also setup and crack both available in same link)

Extract the Patch

Copy Both the Files present in the folder

Paste in the Destination you have copied (it must be C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Demonstration)

Activation of Proteus 8.5 is complete.
